VERTUS MLA 801A is an 8-way active high-frequency column line array designed for advanced steerable sound applications in challenging acoustic environments. It features eight 0.75″ B&C neodymium drivers, each powered by an individual 50W Class D amplifier, for a total of 400W RMS. The extruded aluminum enclosure is compact and architecturally discreet.
Thanks to both digital and mechanical directivity control, the MLA 801A offers precision beam steering in vertical coverage via PC software over RS-485 network. It operates in the 1.8 kHz to 20 kHz frequency range and is designed to be combined with the MLA 608A mid-low frequency module to form full-range, modular column systems up to 4000W. It is ideal for live sound, corporate events, houses of worship, and theatres. Euroblock input with loop output and onboard DSP ensure maximum integration flexibility. The unit supports both standalone and stacked configurations with secure interlocking hardware.
