A high-performance pendant audio system has been installed in the renovated showroom of MD-Bavaria Žilina, s.r.o., in Žilina, Slovakia.
The solution was designed for a 532 m² showroom with a ceiling height of 4.8 meters. The Libra pendant speakers and subwoofers were suspended at 3.3 meters, allowing for optimal sound dispersion and seamless integration with the interior design.

Installed system:

  • 14 × LIBRA 5CT B pendant loudspeakers
  • 2 × LIBRA 8S B pendant subwoofers in birch plywood cabinets
  • 1 × MDA4800 power amplifier
  • 1 × MDA4500 power amplifier

    The system delivers even sound distribution with excellent clarity and low-frequency support, tailored to meet the acoustic and aesthetic requirements of a modern automotive showroom.

The city of Dalton, GA, and the Dalton Public School System recently partnered to create Dalton Stadium, a multi-use field with seating for up to 3,000 attendees for various sporting events. With such capacity, the facility needed a robust sound system that would cover the field, the press box, the concessions area, restrooms and changing rooms, and the equipment areas. We were able to provide everything necessary to produce high-quality sound for the stadium.

Smart Systems General manager, Noah Stein, credits the success of the sound at this venue with the acquisition of a contract at another similarly sized stadium. “The success of this stadium directly led to another project, which is the best testament to the quality of the products used in any installation”.

As far as the stadium itself, we mounted full-range loudspeakers of various sizes to the press box and light posts in order to give good coverage to the field, home bleachers, and visitor’s side bleachers.

The press box is a key component of the stadium, because it is from here that all announcing is done. With the expectation that the press box will be used by many different people, we needed to make everything installed there easy to use and intuitive. We put a push-button microphone on the counter for the announcer, and we also installed a wireless microphone system that is capable of having two handheld microphones and two lapel microphones working at the same time for when announcing needs to be done outside the press box, at field level.

For the home and visitor side concession stands, we installed loudspeakers with volume control mounted inside the concession area. We placed in-ceiling speakers in the changing rooms and all concession building restrooms.

In the equipment room, we installed a rack to house all necessary A/V equipment. The rack included high-powered amplifiers, a CD/media player with Bluetooth, an audio connection for various audio sources such as phones or laptops, a DSP for audio mixing and equalization, and finally power sequencing surge protection for all of the equipment.

The stadium now has reliable and effective audio with ample coverage for its expansive new field and surroundings.

Olympic-sized ice rink Spectrum Leisure Complex in Guildford (United Kingdom).
The installation involved 22 Shadow 108CT eight-inch coaxial all-weather loudspeakers distributed throughout the space, supported by six Shadow 114S-T subwoofers, enabling even coverage to the rink and adjacent stands. Designed primarily to provide extreme water resistance, both models are IP55 certified. The grid consists of three layers with an external stainless steel perforated metallic part treated with a special protection, a central layer with cross-linked foam and a layer formed of a special waterproof polyester mesh.

SHADOW is a complete range of very high performance full range and horn leaded loudspeakers, designed to provide high quality music and voice reproduction in applications with extreme weather conditions resistance, ensuring a long term exposure to all kind of severe environment conditions.

For the Sari city project (Iran), which includes a theater hall with 612 seats, a music hall with 165 seats, and a cinema and convention hall with 190 seats, building acoustics has been a significant technical challenge, since the halls are situated in close proximity to busy streets. A peaceful and noise-free environment is necessary for the optimal functioning of theater, music, and cinema halls.

Achieving the desired acoustic environment involves a range of technical considerations, from the design of the building itself to the selection of sound-absorbing materials and the careful placement of acoustic panels. To address this, the team built a second wall to prevent audio noise from outside. The Fares Technology team also needed to ensure good sound quality in each hall, which required careful consideration of the sound system design. They selected FBT products for this purpose.

The theater hall was done with 20 pcs:

  • 20x Muse 210LA line array systems
  • 8x Subline 218SA
  • 4x Ventis 206A for near-field speakers
  • 4x Ventis 115MA for audio monitor for the stage.

The music hall was done with the HORIZON series:

  • 5x Horizon VHA 406A for satellite, in horizontal configuration
  • 2x Horizon VHA 112SA for subwoofer speakers.
  • Ventis 115MA for the audio monitor for the stage.

Two HORIZON VHA line array systems, 6x VHA 406A and 2x VHA 112SA, in vertical configuration at the convention and cinema hall to provide high-quality sound output.

The team’s efforts paid off, the sound engineer Mr. Modarres, said: “We experienced one of the best sound systems that we heard because of good room acoustic and wonderful sound system”. To ensure that the halls met acoustic and sound system parameters, the customer requested that “The Road, Housing & Urban Development Research Center” measure all halls for certification. The results were outstanding, and the team received praise from Mr. Mosleh, the project manager. Overall, the SARI city project was a success due to the team’s attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality product.
