VERTUS DLA 1244A is an active digitally steerable column line array designed for fixed installations where intelligibility, coverage precision, and architectural integration are essential. Its extruded aluminum enclosure houses twelve 4″ full-range drivers and four 1″ neodymium dome tweeters, each powered by a dedicated Class D amplifier (16 × 50W RMS total).
Using beam steering technology, the DLA 1244A allows digital control of the vertical dispersion angle via PC software over RS-485 network, optimizing coverage in reverberant or complex acoustic spaces. The unit features Euroblock connectors for balanced input/output, SUB output, and RS-485 remote control. A high-pass filter can be activated internally when used with external subwoofers. Designed for speech reinforcement and high-quality music reproduction, the DLA 1244A reaches a maximum SPL of 126 dB, with a frequency response of 100 Hz–20 kHz. Wall mounting brackets are included for flush vertical installation. Multiple units can be combined for full-range configurations with extended low-frequency performance using external subwoofers.
