FBT Elettronica at Integrated Systems Europe 2022

The new edition of Integrated Systems Europe has a new home, Barcelona! We were thrilled to join this exhibition to reveal the new families of products, entirely dedicated to the INSTALL world:

CANTO, the processed active and passive monitor
KEIRON, the installation speaker built in birch plywood
LIBRA, the passive pendant speaker
MIURA, the multichannel processed digital networked amplifier

and two new products of the VERTUS family, both IP55 and EN54 certified column point sources:

At Hall 7 – “Lighting & Staging and Audio”, we have shared for the first time every technical detail with professional audio experts and we were glad to acknowledge how the new products have intrigued the visitors of the exhibition.
Two years without the opportunity to gather together have surely represented a huge loss for this industry, nevertheless, the FBT community’s relationships have grown stronger. As a matter of fact, in Barcelona, FBT has been overwhelmed by the affection and the support of fans, distributors, dealers and customers from all around the world.

Myra Tour Colombia – Colombia Metal Festival 2024

AUDIOTRADE (COLOMBIA)

The Metal Festival held in Gran Carpa de las Américas (Bogotá) on November 8th, 2024 is the second location of the Tour MYRA Colombia 2024, designed to showcase the power, versatility, and technical excellence of this system through live music.

This festival is a celebration of metal music culture, held for the first time in its history in Bogotá, Colombia. The lineup brought together a powerful selection of prominent national and international bands in the genre, including Satyricon from Norway, Chelsea Grin from the United States, Samael from Switzerland, and Colombian acts such ass Underthreat and Masacre, among others.

The event concluded with resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on nearly 5,000 attendees, as well as on the bands and sound engineers who took part in this unique experience.
We extend special thanks to Dynamics Company, responsible for the festival’s full stage production, whose dedication and professionalism made this unforgettable event possible.

MYRA TOUR COLOMBIA

AUDIO TRADE (Colombia)

The Myra Tour is a series of medium and large-scale events and concerts across various venues in Colombia, featuring the Myra system and other FBT models as the primary audio solution. Our goal with this tour is to showcase the power, quality, fidelity, and cost-effectiveness of the Myra system for these types of events, demonstrating that FBT is fully capable of meeting the most demanding technical rider requirements.

Thanks to the professionalism and high-quality work of “Dynamics Audio,” the current Myra user, the system is gaining increased visibility within the live show industry.

First Location

Puerto López – Meta, Colombia

Festival del Canoero 2024 – August 16 to 18, 2024.

This festival is a traditional event in this region of Colombia, held annually to honor the fishermen who use canoes, an ancestral profession of the area. In this edition, we had the participation of renowned Colombian artists such as Guayacán Orquesta, Luis Alberto Posada, Cabas, and other local musicians. The Myra system flawlessly covered an area with over 5,000 attendees, delivering exceptional sound quality without any loss. The artists’ audio engineers were impressed with the system’s performance, particularly when higher SPL levels were required. The user is now more motivated than ever to continue incorporating the Myra system in future service proposals.

AUDIOTRADE also represented FBT at Provenco. Provenco is the congress of suppliers for the industry of the events and live shows of Colombia.This event was held at the Convention Center of Cartagena de Indias, on May 6 to 8th of 2024. At this trade show, AudioTrade, led by Fernando Daza Rodríguez, stood out as the exclusive distributor of FBT in Colombia, showcasing a wide range of audio systems, including the Vertus, Muse, Mitus, and the powerful Myra models. Live demonstrations and the presence of FBT experts, such as Luigi Paoloni and engineer Alan Wood, highlighted the commitment of both companies to innovation and quality in live sound, further strengthening their position in the Colombian market.

Special thanks to Wilson Gómez, Alejandro Ochoa, Ronald Serrano, Christian Ardila, and all the collaborators at Dynamics Company for handling the audio and lighting production. A special mention to Edgar Torres from Sombra Publicidad, responsible for the graphic setup, Solange Ospina for her support to AudioTrade from the office, and to the graphic designer, Aura Ortega.

MYRA DEBUT IN SOUTH AFRICA

STAGE ONE (South Africa)

StageOne hosted the landmark ArtOfTech event (Johannesburg, South Africa), marking the South African launch of the FBT Myra Line Array System.

Peter Berry, the founder of StageOne, tasked his team with transcending traditional demo events to deliver an extraordinary experience. “The ‘ArtOfTech’ was more than just a product launch; the production successfully merged technology with creativity to produce something truly special”, Berry explained.

Over 350 select clients experienced live audio demonstrations of FBT’s premier line arrays, Horizon, Muse, and the star of the show, Myra, our line array system for mid to large-size touring applications and high-end fixed installations.

Kyle Freemantle, a respected freelance sound engineer, praised the Myra for its user-friendly rigging and exceptional sound quality. “The FBT Myra features one of the most straightforward rigging systems so intuitive you might think you’re doing it wrong. The touring chariots are sturdy and well-designed, facilitating easy truck packing and storage. The cabinets, lighter than they appear, offer solid handles that make handling a breeze”, explained Freemantle.

“Sonically, these cabinets require very little effort to sound fantastic. System EQ and other tuning features are all managed onboard by the amps through the remote software. The Myra gives you a big sonic hug and handles anything you throw at it with ease – a great sounding cabinet, complemented by an immense double 18-inch subwoofer, embodying everything you’d want from a large format sound system. FBT has truly excelled with this system, and I look forward to seeing it in the field”. Lloyd Wild from Monster Productions echoed this sentiment, “I was really impressed by the FBT Myra, but I also loved the Muse for its modular versatility, essential in today’s market”.

Peter Berry concluded: “The ’ArtOfTech’ Event marked a new chapter for StageOne, and I couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds”.

The Coca-Cola Epic Weekend Concert held in Battambang Province (Cambodia), boasted a complete FBT system to ensure that every note and beat resonated with pristine clarity.

State-of-the-art audio equipment, including:

The Power Sound team demonstrated remarkable expertise, balancing the acoustics to accommodate the open-air setting of the event. This involved precise calibration to avoid any distortion or feedback, ensuring that the sound quality remained consistently high, regardless of where the audience was situated. Real-time audio monitoring and adjustments were made possible through sophisticated software, which allowed the engineers to fine-tune the performance dynamically.

The harmonious blend of technology and talent ensured that the Coca-Cola Epic Weekend concert was not just heard but felt deeply by everyone present.
