Celebrations in the Indian community are serious business. According to George Fontes, managing director of Fontes Pro Sound & Light, festivals are nothing short of “high-decibel exhilaration.”

So, when Mirage, an Indian wedding and banquet hall in Sacramento, California, contacted him to install a new sound system last month, Fontes turned to FBT.

Respected DJ Suffers Stroke – Sheer Will, Creativity and FBT Keeps Him Working

When the going gets tough - really tough - a lot of people just quit. This wasn’t the case for respected international DJ and industry consultant Brian S. Redd. When Redd lost the use of his right arm and leg following a stroke at the young age of 39, most people thought his career was over. Thanks to an exceptionally positive attitude, raw determination and stubborn creativity, the Milwaukee-based professional did what everyone said couldn’t be done: He built a streamlined system that he could carry and set up himself, without sacrificing sound quality, and got back to work.

When Broadway casts need a place to rehearse, many of them turn to The New 42nd Street Studios. A state-of-the-art rehearsal studio, office and theater complex, the building has provided rehearsal space for more than 236 Broadway shows since it opened in 2000. It’s no surprise, then, that David Jensen, Director of Production, needed to be discriminating when considering speaker upgrades for eight studios this year. After a thorough search, he chose FBT’s Archon 112’s and 115’s to support the work of some of New York City’s most talented performers.

When Jim Martin, Owner of Texas Systems Integration, created a sound engineering plan for Steamboat Rock Baptist Church, he knew he needed 18” flyable subwoofers in a cardioid configuration to complete the job. There was just one problem: nobody made them.  Confident that others would benefit from his idea, he approached Roberto Mataloni, Export Manager, and Mauro Tanoni, Sales Director, of FBT for help. In response, the FBT team created a highly effective new product that not only met, but also surpassed Martin’s expectations. Best of all, MUSE and MITUS 118FSA/FSCA subs are now available to the general public. As attractive as they are functional, the products promise to revolutionize sound design in a variety of applications.

(Babcock, Wisconsin) – When banjoist Dale Reichert needed new monitors for his band, Art Stevenson and High Water, he turned to Kent Laabs, president of SoundWorks Systems, Inc., for guidance. A group of award-winning bluegrass musicians who are passionate about their unique sound, the band was seeking a wedge that would feed their music back to them as accurately as possible. What they got were four FBT StageMaxX 12Mas and a sound that, according to Reichert, helps them make better music.
