VAIS 1000M is a high-quality modular voice alarm system
specially designed to simplify the provision of a fully EN 60849 compliant
voice alarm system.

VA8Z, Audio system for Public
Address and evacuation compliant with the EN60849 and BS5839 part 8 standards
for small to medium installations
• It includes a DPS, a matrix, a digital message
player, a fully monitored fireman microphone, amplifiers monitoring with
switch to backup amplifier and loudspeaker line monitoring
• It can process and control one PSS security
microphone console or up to 8 cascaded PSM microphones and 2 line inputs to
two different channels (music + voice)
• Each input features volume control and equalizer
• Up to 16 digital messages can be downloaded and
recorded as Wav files into VA8Z
• Two different messages can be played
simultaneously in two different zones, with preprogrammed routing via 9 alarm
inputs
• 8 output zones with a+b double line system. A
music or voice signal is automatically or manually routed to each zone
• Music can be switched off in each zone separately
• It requires only two amplifiers, one for voice
and one for music
• The music amplifier will act as a backup
amplifier in case of the voice amplifier failure
• In compliance with EN60849 standard, all
components and peripherals are constantly monitored without music
interruption and all failures are recorded

MMZ 6020 - 6-in x
6-out matrix for the control and amplification of 6 audio zones
• 4 stereo inputs with link to connect another
matrix (Tape, Tuner, CD, Aux)
• 2 RS-485 connectors for the connection of two
paging microphone consoles (MBT 6000)
• 1 XLR-F (Aux Mic) input allows to connect a
microphone input or a MB-T 6400 S, BF-T5043L console and can have priority
over the RS-485 Mic input; moreover, 24V Phantom power is available on this
input
• 6 20Wrms amplifiers, each with 4ohm minimum
output impedance
• 6 RS-485 connectors (Zone Remote Control) for the
connection of local remote controls that, trough the IR remote control, allow
to adjust: volume, high and low tones, power on/off and music programme selection
(Tape, etc.)
• 1 2x16 character display allowing to view the
status of the 6 audio zones

Main Unit
• Fixed frequency receiver
transmission has been replaced by the new rolling code (2MHz- 13MHz) digital
transmission.
The following problems have been
completely overcome: crosstalk, high frequency interference from light
fittings, noise
• New digital audio technique with
multichannel IR DSP built in DSP, and processing speed up to 100MIPS
• One infrared radiator has 64
channels. No crosstalk between these channels
• Innovative digital audio coding/
decoding and decompression technique, to achieve near-CD quality sound

• The LED of the Main unit can show
channel’s operating state, model state, level input state
• The Main unit has 4 digital
signal output (BNC); in case of longdistance transmission, the signal will not
be attenuated. Each channel can connect 4 radiators. If a digital amplifier is
added, the radiation can be expanded without limits
• New digital “keep secret”
function.
• Receivers have an LCD which
displays channel No volume level, battery state and signal state
• Unit’s selection through touchkey
to adjust the volume and choose 0-63 channels
