FBT opens new sales and
support office in the UK
London – FBT,
the Italian high-end loudspeaker manufacturer, has now established its own UK
office and will commence trading from February 2012. Known as FBT Audio (UK)
Ltd, the London based company will be focused on sales and distribution of its global
brand throughout the UK and Ireland.
The
company will also provide the high levels of professional technology support
demanded by their pro-audio and MI customers.
FBT
Audio UK‘s joint founding partner and Managing Director, Mark Parkhouse, is
well-known within the pro-audio community having
held long-term senior positions for more than 15 years, latterly as Head of
Sales & Marketing for Trantec at TOA Corporation. His in-depth knowledge and experience means he is ideally
positioned to meet this industry’s demands.
Parkhouse
says, “FBT have long been recognized as a
major international player in speaker systems and I see this as an exciting
opportunity for promoting their comprehensive product line. Many unique
technologies are incorporated into the numerous product lines, all of which are
designed to enhance the ease of use for the sound engineer and quality of sound
for the listener. Focusing initially on the professional loudspeaker range, we
will provide a service that is a mix of proven products and high-end
consultancy advice combined with more competitive pricing policy.”
Founded in
1963 as a simple artisan workshop, FBT has now grown into a leading
international company where every stage of the production chain is carried out
in their Italian factory – R&D, plastic molding, electronics, carpentry,
paint shop, and quality control. FBT now remains at the cutting edge of speaker
system development, with heavy investments in research and high-tech
manufacturing. Recent installations are as far afield as Beijing, New Delhi,
Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Spain, and Singapore.
